Prior to joining GBA LLP, I worked for another public accounting firm in Georgetown and I have been the Controller for a large public retail company. I have over 20 years experience with a specialization in review and audit assurance engagements. I enjoy helping small to medium-sized businesses, not-for-profit organizations and charities meet their objectives using GBA LLP’s exceptional customer service and technology-focused approach.
After obtaining my Bachelor of Administration degree from Lakehead University, I continued my focus on accounting and assurance. I obtained my designation as a CGA in 2002 and a CA in 2003. I am a Licensed Public Accountant and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
I grew up in Georgetown and I am a graduate of Georgetown District High School where I first became interested in Accounting. I live in Georgetown with my husband, Tim, and our two children. Outside of the office, my interests are focused around my children who play both winter and summer rep sports and include volunteering as a manager for one of their hockey teams. I also assist with an administrative role at my church. In our spare time, you can find us camping or relaxing at the family cottage.
