As an Accounting Technician and Bookkeeper at GBA, I bring over 20 years of hands-on bookkeeping and accounting experience to my role. My career path has been shaped through practical experience, beginning in a family business where I worked alongside a retired accountant and developed a strong foundation in bookkeeping. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of accounting software programs, served as the sole bookkeeper for a corporation, and built my expertise within public accounting firms. Along the way, I also expanded my knowledge by preparing personal tax returns and developing a well-rounded understanding of accounting and bookkeeping services.
My approach to work is simple: do the best I can for both our clients and the firm. I take pride in providing reliable, detail-oriented support and enjoy helping clients stay organized and confident in their financial information.
Outside of work, I have a lifelong passion for art and continue to create every day. For many years, I taught art throughout Southern Ontario, sharing my creativity and knowledge with others. I also enjoy spending time with family and exploring nature whenever I can. I am excited to be part of the GBA team and look forward to supporting our clients and contributing to their success.
