In my role as an Accountant at GBA, I enjoy seeing how individual details come together to create a clearer overall picture of a business. Rather than looking at financial information in isolation, I like understanding the story and context behind the numbers and the “why” behind what I’m doing. I also enjoy seeing how different areas of a business connect and how the work I do contributes to the performance of our clients’ businesses.
I’m currently pursuing my ACCA qualification and enjoy learning about different industries and understanding how their operations translate into financial records. I find it rewarding to see how the different areas of a business come together and how the numbers reflect what is happening within the business. This helps me better understand the work I’m doing and the purpose behind it.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, discovering new restaurants and food spots, and, of course, watching an unhealthy amount of cat videos.
