I graduated from Sheridan College with a Business diploma and furthered my education by completing Bookkeeping Levels One and Two through continuing education at Sheridan. My career began at Shoppers Drug Mart, where I worked for over 25 years as a Store Administrator, in other words, as a bookkeeper, handling all the financial details with precision and care.
In addition to my work at Shoppers Drug Mart, I have been managing the books for several local businesses for many years, providing them with reliable and efficient bookkeeping services.
My hobbies include knitting, crocheting, and sewing that allow me to express my creativity. I am also involved in the local crafting community as the Co-Creator of the Facebook group Handmade in Halton. Additionally, I co-organize the annual Christmas in Georgetown craft show at Christ the King school and co-created Crafting for Cans, an annual fundraiser for the Georgetown Bread Basket.
Baseball is another passion of mine. I am a huge Blue Jays fan and enjoy watching my son play rep ball. Georgetown has been my home for nearly my entire life, and I cherish the sense of community and belonging it offers.
